PRESENTATION BILL
Once the Ballot Bills have been introduced, MPs are free to introduce a Presentation Bills. MPs have to give notice of a couple of days to the Public Office that they intend to do this, and at the relevant point in the proceedings the MP will be called by the Speaker to present his Bill (usually a dummy Bill provided by the Public Bill Office) and one of the House Officials (the Clerk of the House) will then read the title out.
