HOUSE OF COMMONS REPORT STAGE AND THIRD READING
In the House of Commons both of these stages are taken on the floor of the House and more often than not they happen in rapid succession on the very same day.
The "Report Stage" is when the House considers the Bill in its amended form after it has completed its Committee stage. In theory amendments may be made and every Member of the House of Commons may speak and vote, but a time limit usually prevents this.
Third Reading is the final consideration of the Bill in its amended form. It is possible to amend the Bill at this stage, though not substantially.
Generally speaking third reading stage is often short and uncontroversial in the House of Commons.
